Silica/Acidic Ramming Mass for Coreless Induction Furnaces
Rishi Minerals manufactures silica ramming mass, also known as acidic ramming mass, from quartzite with controlled particle sizing and a homogeneous chemical binder mix. Our premixes are used in iron and steel melting and are suitable for coreless induction furnaces up to 50 MT.
A stable lining supports furnace operation and metallurgical control while resisting thermal shock and erosion.
- 98.5% minimum silica in premix grades
- Particle sizing matched to customer requirements
- Low thermal conductivity
- Resistance to thermal shock and erosion
- Controlled chemical composition, bulk density and apparent porosity
- Short heating and sintering times
